With Christmas around the corner and 2023 it’s time to have a look at my collection and see if there’s any I can let go. Make some more room for new books.
First things first. I don’t hate any of these books. I have come to realise I don’t read many physical books anymore. Most have been ebooks. And I don’t have much room currently to hoard a heap of books. I also want to be more environmentally friendly. I want to look up at my collection and see my favourites or the ones with meaning to me and be proud you know. Plus a good cull always feels good.
I don’t know how many books I currently have. But here are some of the ones I got rid of.

I kind of forgot to keep taking some photos. And in the end I unhauled two bags worth of books. And I finally brought myself to get rid of twilight after holding on to them for years.

My overall plan for next year is to not buy any physical books. Only the books I’ve read that I know I’ll reread a bunch. With the expectation of The chain of Thorns. I read mostly ebooks anyway and I just don’t have space for a massive book hall.
