It’s been sadly two years since I went camping. And the last time was a shit show. But I’m finally out here once more.

24 hour write-a-thon
I always do 24 hour readathon’s. They are my favourite thing to do. I haven’t successfully stayed up the whole time anymore. Because I just love my sleep too much to give it up. And that’s no different to tonight. But I wanna see how much I can write and how many hours I canContinue reading “24 hour write-a-thon”
7 days of writing challenge
So on Monday my friend Chris and I decided to set a challenge to each other. Who could write the most in 7 days. It was a way to spark the flames of motivation. To get the ball moving again. Here’s how it went. And who won.
A Year Wrap up. Bye 2022
I’m not expecting much from 2023. The past few years haven’t been the kindest and I just refuse to go into another year with stars in my eyes. So I’m just rolling into 2023 and just going with the flow. Let’s see what happens. Here’s a wrap up on my year.

A writer’s holiday part 2
I finally managed to get a place my dog and myself could go to for two nights. I’ve always wanted to go to some cabin/cottage that was secluded and just write. This wasn’t really secluded but it felt like it. It also didn’t have wifi or a tv.
Writing holiday part 1
I’ve taken some time off work to focus on myself. A mental health holiday with the idea of writing and reading away.
Campwrimo July complete
It’s been a minute since my last post. Which isn’t something I plan it just happened. And it’s probably done me well. This month I decided to do CampWrimo and set my goal to 5K. The point for the 5k was to get the words I had lost and just have a chilled out monthContinue reading “Campwrimo July complete”
A wintery weekend spent writing and reading.
It is meant to be a wet weekend so I thought what better way to spend it then to spend Friday night till Sunday reading and doing hour writing sprints throughout.
CampNano plans/ A nice bush walk

Some writing tips you see everywhere and how they work or don’t work for me.
When I decided to actually go through with writing my novel. I have been completely spammed with writing advice. And I’m going to be honest here.
Why I decided to stop doing NaNoWrimo this round
This month I had every intention of doing Nano. I usually enjoy how competitive it makes me. It usually pushes me more. And I quite enjoy it. My whole goal was to write and have fun.
A NaNoWrimo update
I’m currently 8 days into the monthly writing challenge. And so far I have failed to finish the short story I started, but I’ve added stuff to my two WIP which is nice. Today however I actually thought of throwing in the towel. But I am not a quitter so I’ll slap myself out ofContinue reading “A NaNoWrimo update”
