Emptying the TBR list on Goodreads

Every so often I like to go through my want to read list on Goodreads. It gets out of control and I know some of the books on there I would never read. But you see interesting covers over the years or mentions and you keep adding them.

So today I’m going to do some spring cleaning (in autumn) starting with good reads.

My current Goodreads want to read pile count is 104. Which isn’t the worst for me. And it’s been a few years since I last went through it. Below I’ll mention some books that I’m getting rid of and some I’m keeping.

Do I think I’ll read this anytime soon. Probably not. But I really want to check this out at some point. It was Newley added to the list and I’m going to keep it on.

I know I’ll never read this. I don’t even remember why I put it on the list. Probably kept seeing it around and thought maybe. But I know my taste and this one won’t cross my path.

I thought I might pick this up to do my world challenge. But I know I won’t read it. I’ll more than likely pick this up then give up. I don’t mix well with this sort of story telling and some of the bad reviews make sense to me.

Me and these retellings are a hit or miss. I’m still interested in what this one is like so it can stay.

I don’t have fond memories of the first book. So why on earth I thought I would want to read the second one is beyond me. I’m sure it’s a good book but I’ll pass.

I really liked the lighthouse witches so I do wanna give this author another go and see if I like their stuff or not so this one can stay.

The end result was down to 58 TBR books on Goodreads. Which a few of them are untitled books with long release dates.
