Book of the month:
I was given a copy of this arc for an honest review. And I was shocked by how good this was. I thought it be like all the vampire romances. Oh but I was so wrong. It was more about the story of these two boys. And how sometimes things can conflict with your world view for the better. The sex and romance of it all was more second to the plot. And I was pretty grateful for that.

This first of all wasn’t as good as the first. There I said it. Still, it had some really good moments. And I did enjoy it for the most part. Enough to give it 4 stars. I was conflicted over who I wanted her with which surprised me. I really wasn’t expecting to ship her with the lord under. I also found the underworld very interesting. The differences between his sisters and the way magic worked there. It’s a different series and I’m glad I’m brought the pretty covers.

I sneaky read this for Dewey night. And stayed up later than I should have when I had a wedding the next day. But it was so worth it. This was a lovely story about Miles who goes home to a shit show after being at war and then being robbed by Toby. Miles dad was a hoarder. And sold everything so his son wouldn’t get a dime. This is also a cute romance between two lost souls. I really enjoyed this it was pretty funny. And a quick read. Coming through with 79 pages.

This was a pretty cute book. With nursery rhymes I hadn’t heard of. I’m glad I picked it up from a second hand book store on sale.

I have read pretty much everything by Laura Thalassa. So I was stoked when I got the arc for this. But sadly it really wasn’t for me. I think it still should get a mention purely because that start was so damn good. It’s perfect for people who like academic fantasy.

Writing: I have started a rewrite of my rewrite. And managed to write the first two chapters of my book through all the madness of this month. And to be honest I love how it’s flowing now. It’s going so much better than the last three tries. Writings hard.

Reading plans for may: I tried to read darker reads this month but I don’t know if I was that successful tbh. I plan on doing a darker readathon in the month of May.
