Easter readathon

I can’t do Dewey this month as it falls on the same day as my cousin’s wedding. I know how inconvenient of her. So as I have a spare Saturday I thought why not just spend the day/night reading and see how much I can get through.

I started my Saturday with a bookstore run. They have an Easter sale on at Elizabeth books store. Books are $1 and $2. I only managed to find two books. Ones a Scottish nursery rhymes book.

The first book 📚 of today is to finish this beautiful one.

I took a break from the Forestfall book and read the nursery rhyme book I picked up today. It was written in 1948 so some of the language was hard to read. But it’s a bunch of rhymes I hadn’t heard of. I enjoyed it.

I got this novella from booksirens. So because it’s only 66 pages I thought why not chuck this in the mix. This is a new to me author.

This story moved too quickly. I’d have loved to actually see their relationship grow. But being 66 pages it is what it is. Still it was a good read. I liked Bane the warlock.

In the end I never finished Forestfall. But I got to check out two little reads. So all in all it wasn’t a bad effort.
