Today is Litha/Midsummer/Summer solstice.
I had to work for the most part today which sucked but we got there in the end. So I try to incorporate as much as I can through the days leading to and on the day. As no one I know celebrates Litha.
Summer solstice is a day to celebrate the start of long days and short nights. It’s also the longest day of the year.
Thankfully getting up for work means I’m always up for the sunrise. So today I actually took the time to pay attention and thank her. At work there was a heap of different food put out at the table.
I went for a nice beach walk when I finished work.
And on Sunday I went for a nice bush walk and markets as part of my celebration of Litha.
