First Draft- A book or series that you’ve never read before.
I brought this without knowing much about it other than the cover was pretty and it’s a Hades retelling. So this is a series I haven’t read but can’t wait to finally pick it up.
Second Draft– A book or series you didn’t like as much the second time you read it.
There are a few books/series that I will never reread even though I liked them the first time round. But this series holds so many good memories that rereading it would just ruin it all. I know this isn’t a good book. I still appreciate what it did for me.
Final Draft–A book or series that you’ve liked for a really long time.
I have adored this classic for years. And it’s still my favourite. I could reread this 100 times over and still love it.
Killing Off Your Characters– A book or series that made you cry.
This damn book ruined me. I knew the story of Troy. And I’ve always loved it. And this is still one of my favourite books I’ve ever read. And it’s one of the very few that have made me cry.
Plot Holes– A book or series that disappointed you.
With all the hype around this series I wanted to love it too. It just wasn’t for me.
Writer’s Block–A book or series you never finished
This was the last book that I gave up on. I do dnf books regularly. I have no remorse at this point. life’s too short to waste time forcing myself through a book I don’t like when I could be finishing one I do. I wouldn’t say this book was terrible. It just wasn’t for me at all.
Feedback– A book or series you’d recommend to anyone and everyone.
This was just so different to anything I’ve read before. And I didn’t know about this book or ever heard about it before reading it. But I’d highly recommend people give it a go.. you’ll be surprised by this gem.
