I’ve seen this tag everywhere I’m not sure who made it. Still I thought it would be a good way to wrap up the first half of the year. So far I’ve read 46/100 books. 100 is my end goal.
Best book you’ve read so far
While there have been a few stand outs this year already. The primal sin series has been one that was so memorable and has stuck with me months later. I went into this series thinking I probably wouldn’t like it. But I picked it up only because of the author. It has ended up being one of my favourite series and probably my favourite series by her which says a lot because she has some real bangers.
Best sequel you’ve read so far
This has to be one of my favourite books of the year so far. But I didn’t want to double up the prompts with the same book. Honestly can’t wait to see what book knocks this off the top spot by the end of the year. This story progressed in the right way.
New release you haven’t read yet, but want to
I’ll be finally getting to this book this month for a book club read. And honestly I’m surprised by how much I’ve wanted to read this since I seen it on NetGalley. It’s not a usual go to book for me.
Most anticipated release for the second half of the year
These are definitely my top three books I can’t wait to get my hands on them. Even though there are a lot more I’ll be jumping to get to as well. These three are the stand outs. And thankfully Solo will be hitting my hands real soon.
Biggest disappointment
This should have been a top read for me. But I just left feeling nothing towards it. I don’t even really know what to say about it. It was just so meh.
Biggest surprise
I honestly didn’t think I’d love this. I thought I’d read it and it would be a good read but I didn’t expect to feel so much from such a small book. But damn this had an impact.
Favourite new author (debut or new to you)
I haven’t really gone down and new rabbit holes for the new authors I’ve checked out this year. I would say Ariana Nash but I found her last year and haven’t looked back since. However, I’ll say John Wiltshire only because I found his more heat than the sun series and have really enjoyed that.
Newest fictional crush
Wrath from the kingdom of the wicked series for sure.
Newest favourite character
Mmmm….mmmm…Dom from Shadows of London series or Solo from the Primal sin series currently for the boys and for the girls it’s Emilia from the kingdom of the wicked.
Book that made you cry
I’m positive I’ve yet to have that moment this year so far.
Book that made you happy
I’ve actually read a lot of darker/sadder reads looking back now. So I’m going to say I also haven’t read some happy books. But maybe the closest thing would be the Kingdom of the Cursed 🤷🏻♀️

There have been a few but I do really adore this cover.
What books do you need to read by the end of the year?
I’m just going to say a lot. Because that’s the truth I have a lot of books I want to finish and get to by the end of this year.
Favourite book to movie adaptation you’ve seen this year?
I haven’t read No Exit. I watched the movie a few days ago and I loved it so I’m going to go with that.
